My career in beverage and catering industry began with 12 years working for Whitbread and then a further 3 years for Mitchell & Butler Managing and running Pubs and Restaurants all over Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, I wasn't getting what I wanted from my career and needed a change – hence the birth of Tapped Mobile Bars
How TAPPED came about
3 years ago I got married, and when we were planning our big day the venue was a huge priority. However, we quickly discovered that with each venue came fixed drinks packages, which were grossly overpriced. I decided that being a licensee through work, and through the experience I had gained, I would provide my own bar and drinks.
The bar was a huge success (so was the wedding of course!), so I decided that there must be more people like me who didn't want to be overcharged and tied in to fixed deals at wedding venues. What started as a hobby, soon expanded into my full time role, and we now provide high quality, professional bars on a regular basis for a wide range of clients.
